Phil Cousineau is one of the foremost authorities on the topic of pilgrimage. It is a classic that people have taken with them for years when they travel. I read it during my time in France and it changed the way I looked at travel. Beautifully written with photographs, quotes and anecdotes from his travels. It provides a blueprint that I go back to time and again for how to walk on the Way.
